Command

To report the current drive cleaning mode, use the Mode Sense
command and:
•
Set the Page Code field to 20h - Vendor Unique Page 20h
•
Set Page Control field to 0 - Target to return current values for
the page code specified (20h)
Vendor Unique Page 20h, byte 2, bit 1 indicates the current drive
cleaning mode:
•
One - indicates the automatic drive cleaning feature is enabled
•
Zero - indicates the automatic drive cleaning feature is disabled
