Remove all tape cartridges from the library bins and tape
drives.

Carefully pack all tapes for shipment.

To install internal shipping restraints:

Remove the extension axis restraints from their storage location
in the library (see figure 44
).

If the cartridge handling mechanism (CHM) is not in the far
right position, gently move it along the horizontal carriage
until it is as far right as possible.
